Energy Discount is a capped tariff giving you peace of mind that your prices won’t go above the capped level before 31st Dec 2013. Prices may vary during the capped period. For the average customer annual charges are at least 2% below our standard variable charges during the capped period. After the 31st Dec 2013, customers will revert to our prevailing standard variable (off-line) prices.
Plus, pay by Direct Debit for both your gas and electricity and you’ll also receive a discount of £100 when you’ve paid this way continuously for 12 months.
With Energy Discount you’ll also be able view your bills, set-up meter read reminders and register for our Energy Tracker via npower.com, whenever it suits you.
An early exit fee of £20 per fuel may apply if you change tariff or supplier before 31/12/13. Energy Discount Dec 2013 is not available to Prepayment customers or customers with non-standard metering. Energy Discount has a standing charge so annual charges for customers with very low consumption may be higher than the charges on our standard tariff which does not contain a standard charge. Prices may vary bur won’t exceed the capped level before 31/12/13.
Energy Discount December 2013 Requires a residential contract with npower for electricity and / or gas on our Energy Discount Dec 2013 tariff entered on or after 23.01.12, paying by monthly or quarterly variable Direct Debit, receipt of bill or regular payment scheme. Prices capped at the Energy Discount Dec 2013 rates applicable to your area on the opening date of the offer (23/01/12) until 31/12/13 when you’ll be placed on our prevailing standard (off-line) variable prices. Includes VAT at 5%. Prices may vary before 31/12/13 but will not rise above the capped level providing you continue to meet the eligibility criteria and no charge or cost is imposed by or as a consequence of any action, order, decision or imposition by any governmental, statutory or licensing authority, and, when added to our charges at the time, this causes our prices to exceed the capped level.
Discount to standard: based on a customer with a typical annual average electricity consumption of 3,300kWh and gas consumption of 16,500kWh. Annual charges for customer at other consumption levels will vary. As Energy Discount has a standing charge, annual charges for customers with an annual electricity consumption of 728kWh or less and/or annual gas consumption of 4572kWh or less (as applicable) will be higher than our standard charges. Offer is subject to availability and may be withdrawn, suspended or amended at anytime. Correct as at 23/01/12.
Your annual discount: If you pay by monthly Direct Debit continuously for 12 months we’ll give you a discount off your bill (£100 if you buy both electricity and gas, £50 if you buy just gas or £40 if you buy just electricity). Your discount will be credited to your account on or before the last day of the 12th month after becoming eligible and then on or before the same last day of each year you continue to pay this way. Dual fuel customers must pay for both fuels in one combined payment and accept a combined dual fuel statement to receive a Dual Fuel discount. If you don’t pay by Direct Debit and you receive any discount that is equivalent to our Direct Debit discount, this equivalent discount will be replaced by the Direct Debit discount if you switch to Direct Debit payment.
